Healthcare Assistant (HCA) (Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available)
We’re on the hunt for a superstar Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team at Melbourne Specialty Centre, a specially designed facility offering the latest and most advanced treatments available for a range of conditions.

Melbourne Specialty Centre is a welcoming and modern private clinic located in a beautiful, light-filled building brimming with plants and positive energy. Just steps away from the cafes and wine bars of Lygon Street, we’re a collaborative team of GPs, health, and mental health professionals committed to patient-centred care.

The HCA will play a critical role in assisting with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth delivery of therapy services, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Prepare equipment and materials required for day procedures
Escort, prepare and assist patients before and after their procedures.
Assist medical staff during procedures as required.
Monitor and report patient progress and feedback to supervising clinicians. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Support stock control and cleanliness of treatment spaces and equipment.
Team and Patient Interaction
Work with a legendary team of receptionists and medical directors
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Uphold patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision.
Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, electronic health records).
Prior experience working in a clean and sterile environment
Desirable:
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance preferred (HLT33115)
Experience or placement in a healthcare setting.
Prior experience in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control procedures.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Psychologist/Counsellor (Part Time or Full Time)
Are you a warm and engaging mental health professional with a passion for supporting people?
We’re seeking a Psychologist or Counsellor to join our friendly, multidisciplinary clinic in Melbourne’s vibrant inner north. This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful support across a broad range of presentations, with particular interest in areas such as stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity, and women’s health.

You’re someone who offers warmth, empathy, and clinical insight in equal measure. You’re especially passionate about working with women, non-binary people, and anyone experiencing mental health challenges related to hormonal or reproductive health. You’re also comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.
Requirements:
A fully registered Psychologist or qualified Counsellor
Ability to provide high-quality, ethical care to a diverse patient group
A collaborative mindset and a great sense of humour (plants love jokes too)
Experience or interest in reproductive, perinatal, or hormonal mental health (desirable but not essential)
